Seats are usually on multi-year leases with teams or venues. In
most sistuations, buyers of suites are actually picking up remaining
years on the lease from the seller.
How
long are the leases?
It depends on teach team or venue, but usually run from 1-10 years.
Is
a deposit required to assume a lease?
Usually, each team or venue requires a deposit, and we'll provide
that information to the buyer in such cases.
What
comes with a suite?
It depends upon each team or venue, but can include parking passes,
club level access, a certain number of passes or tickets, catering
options, etc. Seats and Suites will provide this information to
you for each suite.
Is
Seats and Suites a broker?
Seats and Suites is not a NOT a broker, but an online marketplace
which caters to sports fans and businesses interested in purchasing
the best suites in the house. Seats and Suites brings buyers and
sellers together and charges a flat percentage fee for our services.
How
does the team or venue handle the transfer of a suite?
Seats and Suites will assist in obtaining the necessary paperwork
and information in regards to the transfer of the suite. Each team
and/or venue will have different requirements in regards to the
ownership transfer of a suite. It is the responsibility of the owner
to be certain the team or venue permits a suite transfer prior to
posting the suite for sale at Seats and Suites. Buyers and sellers
are responsible for making sure all documentation is in place and
may want legal counsel to review the paperwork prior to the final
transfer.
How
much does Seats and Suites charge to buy or sell a suite?
Seats and Suites treats buyers and sellers equally and charges 5%
of the final value of the transaction to both the buyer and the
seller, based on the lease price for one year.
