What
are Seat Rights?
Seat Rights are sold by professional sports organizations in order
to offset the high cost of construction for new venues. Also know
as Permanent Seat Licenses, Charter Seat Licenses, Charter Seat Agreements,
etc., these are all transferable assets that can be bought and sold
between sports fans.
Is
Seats and Suites a broker?
Seats and Suites is NOT a broker, but an online marketplace, which
caters to sports fans interested in buying and selling the best
seats rights in sports venues. Seats and Suites brings buyers and
sellers together and charges flat fees for our services.
Which
teams allow Seat Rights transfers?
We've listed all MLB, NBA, NHL, and NFL teams that allow for transfer
of seat rights.
Seats and Suites will add other professional sports venues as we
improve our website.

What
about team rules and procedures?
Each team is different, as are the fees and rules for seat right
exchanges. Seats and Suites will provide instructions on how to
proceed with an exchange on a per-team basis.
Why
should I use Seats and Suites to buy or sell Seat Rights?
Seats and Suites has been in operation since November 1998, and
has successfully transferred over $3,000,000 in Seat Rights for
fans of the Carolina Panthers. The Panthers often recommend our
website because we pay attention to the rules of exchange. (Note:
Seats and Suites is not affiliated with the Carolina Panthers).
Can
I sell Seat Rights during the season?
Seats and Suites can assist you year-round in buying or selling
Seat Rights. However, since each team has specific time periods
for processing transfers, we may have to escrow funds and hold on
to paperwork until your team begins processing transfers.
What
about season tickets?
Buyers and sellers should consider the cost of season tickets or
tickets for remaining games (if a deal is reached during the season)
when making offers and counter-offers. When placing a For Sale Request,
sellers have an option of including season tickets in the sales
price.
What
if the deal does not go through?
The party that backs out of the deal loses the fee paid to Seats
and Suites (and the fee paid to the team, if any). The other party
can either receive a credit toward a later deal, or a refund.
